She is experienced at coaching individuals from diverse and eclectic backgrounds. As someone who has been an Entrepreneur, Accountant, and Health & Beauty Professional, she brings a uniquely personal perspective to her role as “Transitional Coach”. Michele began her career as an Accountant with KPMG in New York. She went on to hold senior finance roles with a leading Canadian manufacturing company. After deciding to pursue her entrepreneurial interests, Michele started a successful Beauty Salon where she launched and grew the Medical Laser Service business. Throughout her career, she was recognized as one of the top Medical Laser Professionals in the industry and eventually began a successful Medical Laser Training Practice with Alma Lasers. In 2010, Michele became a Certified Personal Coach and has been coaching various professionals on their personal and career aspirations and goals. Her unique approach to personal and professional development has helped diversify the firm’s human capital advisory services. Michele is a Presidential Scholar and a graduate of Barry University where she received her BSc. in Accounting.
Sabrina Crucini, Principal
As Principal at Zel Human Capital, Sabrina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in full cycle recruiting. In her role, she focuses on actively sourcing, engaging, interviewing, and recruiting candidates. Throughout her career, Sabrina has fostered relationships with C-level Managers and Senior Executives. She understands that people hire people, not resumes. To ensure a complete match, she extensively interviews candidates to find out who they are and what they are looking for – as people. Sabrina is most fulfilled when helping people grow professionally. Her vision and ability to nurture relationships has led to long-term solutions and success for her clients and candidates.
Sabrina began her career as a Partner at a Mediation firm where she provided dispute resolution services for matters of civil litigation, workplace disagreements, as well as divorce and separation. Following her passion for recruitment, Sabrina went on to launch and grow her own firm specialized in recruitment for small to medium sized businesses before joining a leading Toronto based recruitment firm as Director of Talent Acquisition.
Sabrina obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University and her Post-Graduate Human Resources Certificate at Seneca College of Applied Arts & Sciences. She also completed the Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate at Humber College and became an Associate Mediator specializing in Civil Mediations such as Employment/Workplace disputes.
Alan Zel
With over 20 years of professional talent management experience, Alan provides his clients with a unique and innovative approach to human capital recruitment and assessment. As part of his business model, Alan has helped numerous Global organizations recruit senior leaders as well as full technology and operations teams. Prior to launching his firm 7 years ago, he spent several years as a Senior Partner with a leading global boutique firm. Over the course of his career, Alan has successfully completed a multitude of senior-level assignments for a cross-section of organizations, large and small, often with diverse and complex requirements.
Earlier in his career, Alan was Head of Business Development for a leading provider of information services. In this business, he played a key role in developing successful relationships with channel partners and clients in the financial services and technology sectors. Alan began his career in corporate communications with a prominent public affairs firm based in Washington, D.C., where he focused on corporate and governmental advocacy campaigns.
Alan received his Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from McGill University, a Master’s Degree in Business Communication from American University in Washington D.C., and studied Advanced Graduate Management at Athabasca University.
Alan is a past member of the Autism Speaks Canada funding committee and has been actively involved in a number of community based initiatives. He is also a Volunteer Responder with the Toronto Crisis Center.
